It’s not often that you get a garment that ticks all the boxes, so when Netti released the Diva Metro Shorts into their Summer 2009 range, the cycling shorts market hasn’t been the same.

A two part short, the Netti Diva Metro Shorts bring with them a newly developed, abrasion-resistant outer shell with moisture-management technology, taking the sweat away from your skin and taking it to the outer layer of the fabric to be evapourated quicker. In turn, this prevents your body getting a chill from the clammy sensation that sweat can give you. Stretching four ways, this outer shell gives the body amazing flexibility and control, usually only seen in Lycra nix.

The left leg of the Netti Metro Shorts have a zippered security pocket, large enough to fit a mobile phone and keys, but small enough as not to detract from the streamlined fit of the shorts.

With a radial gusset for freedom of movement and moveable, Velcro waist adjusters, the outer shell of these shorts is by far a superior advancement in cycling shorts technology.

For extreme comfort, the Netti Diva Metro Shorts feature a completely removable inner that is attached by clip-in snaps on the inside of the waist band. To protect your waist from rubbing against these clip-in snaps, a soft-finish knitted elastic has been used on the inner nix for a comfortable finish against your body.

The inner nix of these elite shorts are made from moisture-wicking Aeromesh, which again allows sweat to be pulled away from the skin, eliminating the clammy chill that sweat can give you. The legs of the inner nix have silicone gripper on the hem to keep them firmly in place and prevent them from riding up while riding.

Finishing off an already sensational product, the Netti Diva Metro Shorts feature Netti’s highest quality, Italian Carbon Resistex Chamois with multi-directional stretch to allow full freedom of movement. It also features Silver Ion technology to prevent the build up of lactic acid and offer antimicrobial and antibacterial protection which stops bacteria growing, keeping the chamois fresh and preventing material breakdown.
