The new CR1 offers a ride quality that is unmatched. Designed to absorb shock and vibration created by irregularities in the road, this new concept results in a very smooth and stable ride, reducing rider fatigue and making any ride more enjoyable. By a weight of just 860 grams (HMX carbon fibers) the frame’s lateral stiffness enables direct power transfer and ensures both confident cornering and descending. The geometry of the new CR1 is performance oriented, but the top tube and head tube lengths offer a more comfortable position than pure racing frames. The seatstays, chainstays and fork all feature SDS, our Shock Damping System. These areas have been specially constructed with regard to tube shape, dimension, and fiber layup to provide vertical compliance without sacrificing torsional stiffness.
